CATBALOGAN CITY – The Student Welfare and Development Services (SWDS) under the Career Services Office spearheaded a 3-day career seminar where graduating students were given the opportunity to learn about their rights and responsibilities as workers, the current in-demand jobs in the market, how to prepare for the interview, craft a resume and application letter, and experience the nerve-racking job interview.
The job interview took place in person, but the event was streamed live on Facebook and Zoom. 503 graduating students from various colleges attended the event.
Indeed, the office of Student Welfare and Development Services through Career Services would like to extend its gratitude to all the resource speakers and HR representative who guided students in broadening their knowledge of careers. The never-ending support of career advisors who evaluated the resume and application letter of the students also serve as interviewers. And most important the students who attended the 3-Day Career Seminar.
We gratefully wish all graduating students a prosperous career and exhort them to continue making a legacy for themselves and Samar State University.
