SURVIVING THE FIRST YEAR COLLEGE

You might feel a rush of enthusiasm when you initially consider entering college. Are you in agreement?

The first year of college can be challenging since it introduces you to a new setting where the study materials are more rigorous, you will interact and get along with more people, you are more likely to adjust to a new way of life, explore new interests, you start to become independent, etc. You will have to continually juggle your academic, social, and personal lives, which will make the move challenging.

Due to these factors, we’re here to help you navigate your first year of college as well as the following few years of study. On October 21, 2022, at 3 p.m., the Student Welfare and Development Services will host a webinar about “Surviving the First Year College” through the office of Economic Enterprise and Career Services.

Don’t miss this chance since we have invited one of our own, Mr. Von Christopher Chua, a Special Science Teacher and an alumna of this institution. He will give us some of his valuable time to share his knowledge, experience, and advice on the subject. During the webinar, you will learn more about our resource speaker.

Register now through this link and e-see you on Friday afternoon.
